Our joint concert with the ladies of the British Forces Cyprus of Akrotiri and Episkopi at the awe-inspiring ancient Roman theatre at Curium (Kourion) was a high spot of the Cyprus tour. It proved a wonderful opportunity to extend and strengthen our relationship with the Military Wives movement.

Later, in the officers’ mess on the RAF base, our thirst was slaked, hunger satisfied, more songs sung and new friendships made in time-honoured afterglow tradition.

MMC and the Achord Community Choir
In a joint concert with the ladies of the relatively newly-formed Achord Community Choir, in the village of St Raphael, more than £1,000 was raised for the Royal British Legion.
The second photo shows tour organiser Graham Rundle being presented with a bottle of legendary Cyprus wine in recognition of the enormous amount of work he put in to ensure the tour was such a spectacular success.
