... from Mevagissey
…and one of Cornwall’s most accomplished and entertaining choirs.
We are determined not to allow COVID-19 to prevent you from enjoying our music, so we have decided to release one of the tracks – Back to the ‘60s - from the new CD that we have been working on. We are asking for a minimum of £2.50 – well, it is nearly twelve minutes long! - and ALL proceeds will go to Cornwall Hospice Care, whose 40th Anniversary year has been so cruelly disrupted. So please give generously, and enjoy your taster for our next CD, which will hopefully be available later this year.
We have been unable to practise since 9th March, and we have been forced to cancel our events for the foreseeable future – including our concert in Mevagissey Feast Week, which has itself been called off this year. No decision has been taken yet on our August quay concerts.
Any news, when we get it, will be posted in our running news column to the right of of this page.
For you folks unfortunate enough to live outside this beautiful part of the world, we have also uploaded a stunning video of Mevagissey taken by Sally Mitchell of the Roseland’s Design Room studio.

We’ve also added a gallery of photos of Mevagissey and St Austell Bay, taken recently by Choir members and friends, to remind you of Mevagissey and the local area.
Meanwhile, what better way can there be to put a smile back on your face during lockdown than by listening to our music, available on CD or as individual tracks here.
Mevagissey Male Choir would be delighted to sing for you, whether to raise funds for a good cause, to help celebrate an event, or just for your own pleasure.
To book us for your event, please contact our Concert Secretary, Cliff Burnett, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 01726 833591
