Greetings

... from Mevagissey

…and one of Cornwall’s most accomplished and entertaining choirs.

We are determined not to allow COVID-19 to prevent you from enjoying our music, so we have decided to release one of the tracks – Back to the ‘60s - from the new CD that we have been working on. We are asking for a minimum of £2.50 – well, it is nearly twelve minutes long! - and ALL proceeds will go to Cornwall Hospice Care, whose 40th Anniversary year has been so cruelly disrupted. So please give generously, and enjoy your taster for our next CD, which will hopefully be available later this year.

We have been unable to practise since 9th March, and we have been forced to cancel our events for the foreseeable future – including our concert in Mevagissey Feast Week, which has itself been called off this year. No decision has been taken yet on our August quay concerts.

Any news, when we get it, will be posted in our running news column to the right of of this page.

For you folks unfortunate enough to live outside this beautiful part of the world, we have also uploaded a stunning video of Mevagissey taken by Sally Mitchell of the Roseland’s Design Room studio.

What people say about us

We bought the CD after the Minack concert and whilst listening to 'Cornish Hearts' as we drove home, I was amazed to realise that I was crying

Attending your rehearsal last September was a highlight of our trip to England. As a chorister, I am impressed by your sound, your musicianship and your leadership. Your CDs are now a staple in our house, and impress all our guests!

I just want to tell you how much I adore my CD, which I bought on the harbour at Mevagissey in August. We had been walking the coastal path and were sitting eating fish and chips and watching dolphins when we heard musical sounds coming from the harbour.  To our surprise, we found your choir singing. It was the highlight of my holiday. I knew and loved most of the songs, the setting was fabulous and the whole atmosphere was ‘magical’. Your choir sing so beautifully and must bring so much joy to SO many people
